I grew up with one older human sister.  And an older canine sister and brother.  Cory, my Irish Setter sister watched over me and never let me go too far down the driveway.  Peter, my Springer Spaniel older brother, competed for my father’s attention and generally won.  Animals are people to me and will always be. I think we are very similar beings, all of us mammals, and probably octopus and maybe some turtles and some fish and birds… We just operate different machinery. And we can’t help but have different perspectives.  And levels of wildness. These are drawings that I have done over the years that are my attempts to capture them.
