digital fine art
When I turned 30, I was working on Wall Street. A hippie kid like me. Yep. I got a job developing educational materials for financial advisers to get people like me (English and Art majors) to feel comfortable trading and interested in the financial world.
In that role, I got picked to research all the new fangled wireless technology, like Bluetooth and Cellular networks. At the time, Windows 2000 was the big thing and Sprint was king. Everyone who was anyone had a PALM VII and/or maybe the color Palm III.
I knew I would never be a “real” artist, so I decided to try my hand at digital fine art (DFA). I got a CD-ROM of Photoshop for some crazy amount of money and I started creating a lot of work. First I just altered photographs, but then I got creative. I was a little lost and depressed at the time, so a lot of the work I created was a little dark. But there are some portraits in here I think are very pretty.
This is some work from between 2000-2005.
