Sometimes the less you see, the more you feel... I started experimenting with very high contrast pieces. I would get black paper and white charcoal pencils and draw. Sometimes I would work with very soft dark charcoal on white paper. These are surprisingly hard to manage and require method. Like watercolor, or pastel.
